Description
The University Children’s Hospital in Zurich is not only the largest pediatric hospital in Switzerland but also one of the leading pediatric centers in Europe. The Department of Oncology at the University Children’s Hospital is part of the Comprehensive Cancer Center Zürich and is in very close proximity to the worldly renowned ETH fostering collaborations with one the leading technical universities in the world. The team has extensive experience in clinical trials of all phases. The DIPG Center of Expertise focuses on translational and early phase clinical research in the field of diffuse-intrinsic pontine glioma and other high-grade gliomas.
Our pediatric brain tumor patients and their families are supported by a multidisciplinary team of neuro-oncologists, neuro-surgeons and radiotherapists, but also specialized nurses, psychologists, and social workers.
