Annie Huang, MD, PhD, FRCPC

Senior Neuro-Oncologist

Dr Huang is a neuro-oncologist in the Pediatric Brain Tumor program, senior scientist/principal investigator in the Cell Biology Program and the Arthur and Sonia Labatt Brain Tumor Research Center at the Hospital for Sick Children, and holds academic appointments as Professor of Pediatrics, Medical Biophysics, Lab Medicine and Pathobiology at the University of Toronto, Canada. Dr Huang’s clinical and research interest is in biology and innovative therapies for rare pediatric brain tumors, and brain tumors arising in infancy. She established and leads the Rare Brain Tumor Consortium (www.rarebraintumroconsortium.ca), a unique worldwide biorepository and clinical registry for rare brain tumors. Studies from her lab has helped to advance biological understanding and novel therapies for rare embryonal brain tumors including ETMRs, PNETs and ATRTs.
