Ashley Meyer, RN CPNP

Pediatric Nurse Practitioner

Ashley is currently employed by Washington University School of Medicine and practices as a pediatric nurse practitioner at St. Louis Children’s Hospital.  She has practiced within the field of Neuro-Oncology since 2014.

Ashley has been interested over the past several years in collaborating with nursing and advanced practice provider (APP) members from other PNOC participating sites to create a nursing/APP committee within PNOC. This group would provide a platform for sharing information, assisting in the development and implementation of PNOC protocols, and would provide additional resources and education intended to be utilized by all PNOC participating sites.  Ashley is specifically interested in the management of potential toxicities and late effects caused by newer agents that are utilized within many PNOC trials. Ashley would like to continue her research in this area in hopes that by lessening the side effects of these drugs this will led to improved patient satisfaction, wellbeing, and less interruptions of the prescribed agents.   

Ashley has always been very interested in art and especially enjoy oil painting.
