Carly Hoffman, RN, MS, CPNP-AC, CPON
Pediatric Nurse Practitioner
Carly Hoffman is a pediatric nurse practitioner at UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospitals. She works in the pediatric Neuro-Oncology department and cares for patients with CNS tumors in both the in-patient and out-patient settings. She has special interests in managing chemotherapy symptoms and in being a patient advocate and liaison for families of children and young adults undergoing treatment.
Carly is the lead study nurse for the PNOC surgical trials at UCSF and has a special interest in convection enhanced delivery trials, where she works closely with the Neuro-Surgery team.
Carly received her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Dominican University of California and her master’s degree from the UCSF School of Nursing, where she completed the Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Acute Care Program.
When she is not working at the hospital, she enjoys her Thursday night bowling league. She has bowled several 200+ point games! Carly is a two term president of the Bay Area local chapter of the Association of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Nurses.
