Evelien de Vos-Kerkhof, MD

Evelien de Vos-Kerkhof is a pediatric neuro-oncologist at the Princess Máxima Center for Pediatric Oncology in Utrecht, the Netherlands. She obtained her PhD in 2016 on the topic of clinical decision-making in pediatric emergency care. In 2013, she obtained her master’s degree in clinical epidemiology. With this epidemiological background, she is now focusing both on research in quality of life (QoL) (e.g., studies on the topics of antiemetics and hypothalamic dysfunction) and on the field of neuro-oncology (early phase clinical trial development). She is co-PI of the Pacific Neuro-Oncology Consortium (PNOC) and (co)-PI on several phase I/II trials both pharma-initiated as investigator-initiated in neuro-oncology field, as well as in the field of supportive care/ QoL. She is part of the international craniopharyngioma and CNS germ cell tumor working groups (SIOP/ PNOC). She is the associate editor of the Supportive Care in Cancer journal.
