Seattle Children’s Cancer Center is consistently ranked among the top 10 pediatric cancer centers in the nation by U.S. News & World Report. Seattle Children’s brain tumor team is a coordinated group of board certified specialists, including pediatric neuro-oncologists, neurosurgeons, nurse practitioners, radiation oncologists, neurologists, rehabilitation medicine physicians, neuropsychologists, nutritionists, social workers, neuro-pathologists and neuro-radiologists. By partnering with patients and families, members of the brain tumor team work together to ensure that brain tumor patients receive the best possible care, including access to clinical trials.
Seattle is also home to some of the most innovative pediatric brain tumor research, including the Olson Laboratory at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, the Ben Towne Center for Childhood Cancer Research , the Center for Clinical and Translational Research (CCTR) at Seattle Children’s, and the Center for Integrative Brain Research at the Seattle Children’s Research Institute.
