The Edmond and Lily Safra Children’s Hospital is part of the Sheba campus. It is known for the broad range of conditions it treats and for its state-of-the-art facilities, including: A Pediatric Intensive Care unit; The Pediatric Neurology Institute, The Pulmonary Unit, The National Cystic Fibrosis Center; The Pediatric Surgery Department, The Hemato-Oncology Unit, A Psychiatric Department, and the Pediatric Rehabilitation Department.
The Pediatric Hemato-Oncology Department includes the Pediatric Oncology Outpatient Clinic and Day Care Unit, comprise 20 beds, the Inpatient Ward and the Bone Marrow Transplantation Unit, which together comprises 26 beds. A Home Care Unit provides palliative home care for terminally ill patients and coordinates treatment between services in the hospital and the community.
The new Marion and Elie Wiesel Children’s Pavilion is the newest addition to the Pediatric Hemato-Oncology department. It is the only Pediatric Hospice in Israel.
